As of January 1, 2022, Eugene Family Chiropractic will operate as a Direct Pay office.
Our goal at Eugene Family Chiropractic is to support each patient in their health and wellness goals by providing excellent chiropractic care for the entire family, without any confusion or surprises. Direct Pay has gained popularity with doctors and patients who recognize the disparity between how insurance companies view and treat patients and how unique individuals need to be cared for. With insurance policy and regulation ever-changing, many patients and doctors have become frustrated with the cost of healthcare and the bureaucracy surrounding it. As insurance deductibles and premiums continually rise, we have found that many of our patients save money or pay close to the same price of care covered by their insurance company when they choose to pay directly.
1. We are not able to bill insurance, and we are not in network with any insurance provider, however we are happy to provide you with any supporting paperwork if you would like to file a claim with your insurance company.
2. Each appointment will have a set price; there will be no guessing what your appointment will cost, or any surprises after insurance has been billed.
3. As we will not be billing insurance, you do not need to worry about if your policy has chiropractic coverage, if you have met your deductible, if you need a pre-authorization for treatment, or if you have met or exceeded a visit limit set by the insurance company.
4. We are happy to accept payment in the form of cash, check, major credit card, Flexible Spending Card, or HSA card. We can also provide you with a receipt for reimbursement if needed.
Operating as a Direct Pay office will allow us to continue to provide you with optimal care for your unique situation, where you are treated as an individual with a focus on wellness and not as a number, account, or disease.
